August Popov
Avgust Popov is a Bulgarian actor, comedian, and television host, known for his distinctive sense of humor and his participation in some of the iconic satirical shows of the 1990s. He was born in 1967 in Yambol and graduated in acting from NATFIZ in the class of Prof. Stefan Danailov. He gained widespread popularity as part of the legendary student show "Ku-Ku," which became one of the signature phenomena of Bulgarian television satire. He also appeared in the shows "Piron" and "Vladi's Cocktails," where he partnered with Vladislav Karamfilov – Vladi Vargala. Beyond his acting and comedy work, Avgust Popov is also connected to music. His rich musical culture led him to the stage of dozens of concerts across the country. With his recognizable style, improvisation, and sense of satire, he is part of the generation of artists who shaped television humor in Bulgaria during the 1990s.
