Anders Matthesen

Anders Matthesen is a Danish performer who works as a stand‑up comic, actor and rapper. In his musical and comedic acts he goes by the moniker Anden. He has put out two rap albums together with a number of comedy recordings. Matthesen also wrote and directed a series of animated features, namely Terkel in Trouble (2004) and the Checkered Ninja trilogy (2018, 2021, and the upcoming third installment). He devised the 2003 television Christmas calendar Jul på Vesterbro and has taken roles in various TV series as well as in the 2022 movie Toscana.

Malte Fynboe Manniche Ebert, who formerly performed under the name Gulddreng, is a Danish musician. His real identity stayed hidden until the father of his host‑family during an exchange trip revealed his name on Facebook. The alias translates to “gold boy” or “golden boy.” While using the Gulddreng persona, Ebert consistently wore sunglasses, a device that helped conceal his face. Jan Monrad

Jan Monrad var en dansk komiker, sanger og entertainer, mest berømt som den ene i duoen Monrad & Rislund; hans samarbejdspartner var Søren Rislund. Han fik sin første uddannelse af en folkeskolelærer, hvor han blandt andet underviste i musik og samfundsfag. Monrad trådte ind i underholdningsverdenen i begyndelsen af 1970'erne med shows i København. I 1974 udgav han sin debutsingle “Kød på bordet”. Året efter gik han sammen med Søren Rislund og bandet Totalpetroleum; de to havde kendt hinanden siden første klasse på Frederiksberg Skole. Sammen skabte de en karakteristisk sort humor, grove vittigheder og satire, og senere omdøbte de gruppen til Monrad & Rislund. I flere år arbejdede han for Ekstra Bladet som tv‑kritiker, satirisk kommentator og trafikinformationsekspert, samtidig med at han optrådte i en række tv‑programmer, bl.a. Niels Hausgaard

Niels Hausgaard is a Danish singer, songwriter, and satirist born on August 31, 1944, in Hirtshals. He hails from an Indremissionary fisherman's family and currently resides in Hundelev, both locations situated within Vendsyssel, Region Nordjylland, Denmark. His early years included attending the Himmelbjerggården boarding school in Ry and working on a farm in the Hjørring area during his confirmation years. Before pursuing a career in entertainment, he trained as a ship's blacksmith in Hirtshals Harbor and sailed for several shipping companies throughout the 1960s; he also studied to become a marine engineer but did not complete that education. Hausgaard began performing in the 1970s, initially gaining recognition for his songs and understated comedy. He started as a poet for DR Nordjylland and released his first album, Et Portræt , in 1974, followed by national tours. A trademark of his early performances was the use of the vendelbomål dialect, although this has been toned down in recent years. From the 1970s onward, he became known for combining observations on life with commentary on welfare state issues. He appeared in TV shows titled 'Clausen & Hausgaard' with comedian Erik Clausen in the 1990s and illustrated most of his albums himself. Throughout his career, Niels Hausgaard has received several prizes for his contribution to Danish culture. He won Best TV entertainment in both 2001 and 2004, and was awarded the Otto Gelsted Prize and the Gelsted-Kirk-Scherfig Prize in 2006, donating the latter’s prize money to Dagbladet Arbejderen. Other honors include Årets Sangskriver in 2006, the Modersmål-Prisen in 1997, Den Gyldne Grundtvig in 2012, and the Polka Verner Legatet in 2022. His album 'Flyv så' was nominated for 'Årets danske album' at the Danish Music Awards Folk in 2006, and he won the prize for 'Årets danske sangskriver' that same year. He has continued to perform, touring with singer Signe Svendsen in 2007 and appearing at the Zulu Comedy Galla in 2014; since 2019, he has starred in the TV2 Zulu series 'Minkavlerne'.
