Iris Bahr

Iris Bahr, an American performer and multi‑disciplinary creator, works as an actress, stand‑up comic, director, writer, author, producer, dramaturg, and coach for public speaking. Audiences may recognize her as Rachel Heineman on HBO’s Curb Your Enthusiasm and as Perla on the series Hacks. She earned acclaim for her one‑person production DAI (enough), and she created, directed, starred in, and co‑produced the television show Svetlana alongside Mark Cuban. Bahr has also penned three books—Dork Whore, Machu My Picchu, and the collaborative Book of Leon with J. B. Smoove.
