Caterina Guzzanti is an Italian satirist and actress born in Rome on June 5, 1976. She comes from a family with a history of political engagement and artistic expression; her father, Paolo Guzzanti, was a former Member of Parliament, and she has two siblings, Sabina and Corrado Guzzanti, who are also satirists. Her parents were Paolo Guzzanti and Germana Antonucci. Caterina’s career began in 1997 with an appearance on the Pippo Chennedy Show, which was created by her brother Corrado. She subsequently co-starred with her sister Sabina in the program La posta del cuore in 1998.

Guzzanti's comedy style often involves parody and character creation, exploring contemporary Italian society. She is particularly known for her role as Arianna in the television series 'Boris,' which ran from 2007 to 2010 across three seasons, and she reprised this role in the fourth season in 2022. During her time on 'Boris', she developed a gallery of characters, including the 'contessina' Orsetta Orsini. In 2012, she portrayed Vichi, a parody of a CasaPound activist, in 'Un due tre stella.' She also parodied Mariastella Gelmini and Sarah Palin in 'Parla con me' in 2008. Her work has included hosting 'La prova dell’otto' starting in March 2013, and co-hosting 'Sostiene Bollani' with Stefano Bollani from 2011 to 2013, before presenting 'Nanuk - Prove d'avventura' with Davide Demichelis beginning in 2012.
