José María Listorti
José María Listorti, born March 4, 1973, in Villa Devoto, Buenos Aires, Argentina, is a comedian, television host, actor, and TV personality. He began his entertainment career at a young age, debuting at 16 on the show "Seis para Triunfar." Growing up in Villa Devoto, he was encouraged to act in school, creating new sketches weekly. Seeing Les Luthiers perform inspired him. After finishing school at 18, he studied voice acting briefly and also helped his father at a newspaper stand before entering radio. His upbringing, including the influence of Carlitos Balá, fostered his enjoyment of humor. For almost ten years, Listorti gained prominence as a member of the Videomatch comedy program, collaborating with Marcelo Tinelli, Diego Korol, Pablo Granados, and Pachu Peña. During this period, "Videomatch" achieved ratings exceeding 30 points. He contributed sketches, hidden cameras, and parodies to the show. After departing Videomatch, Listorti became part of Showmatch, hosting both Este es el show and Sábado Show. He also participated in Bailando por un Sueño in 2007. His current manager is Julieta Fenner; previously, Lucia Cañeque held that role. Beyond television, Listorti has explored diverse avenues of entertainment. He has appeared in other programs, fiction projects, theater, and radio. In 2023, he was invited to perform musical comedy in "Matilda." Currently, he plays the role of the Crab in "The Little Mermaid" at the Teatro Gran Rex. In 2012, Listorti married Mónica González; together they have two sons: Franco, who arrived in 2009, and Bruno, born in 2014.
